My Makeup routine

So last week I showed you my skin care routine and this week is time for my makeup. I decided to show you the products that aren’t necessarily in my project pan because you know what they are already. Se here are the products I use everyday.

 

 

1 – Quem disse berenice (Brazilian brand) Powder foundation: This powder foundation isn’t great and it’s a bit light for me. It was kept away in a drawer but a couple months ago I decided to take it out and use it paired with my MAC powder foundation, which is too yellow for me, so it’s pretty much a perfect pair.

2 – Milani XL Bronzer: It’s a bit orange, but it’s alright.

3 – Laura Geller Baked French Vanilla Highlighter: I don’t  necessarily use highlighter everyday or this one specifically, but this one is very pretty and subtle.

4 – MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation: I really love this powder foundation as I have combination skin and I don’t need that much cover, so it’s perfect. This one is in the shade C4, but it’s too yellow for me. When I’m done with it, I’ll buy it again in the shade NC30 or something like that.

 

 

5 – Bare Minerals Ready Spf 15 Touch up veil in Translucent: I use it as a finishing powder as it makes my skin feel very smooth, and the added spf isn’t bad. The downside to it is that it makes your skin ghostly if you take flash photography using it.

6 – L’oreal True Match Crayon Concealer: It’s pretty good, and the pencil form is very handy. It’s a bit too dark for my skin, but when I use it on top of my NYX green concealer, it’s a perfect match.

7 – Quem disse berenice highlighter: This is a pretty subtle highlighter, great for everyday. I don’t use it everyday because I feel like my NARS Orgasm blush gives that highlighter look as well as blush, but still I’m almost done with this product.

8 – MAC Studio Finish concealer in NC20: I use it for spots on my face, it’s pretty good.

9 – NYX Concealer in a jar in Green: I hate the smell of it, but it works really well paired with regular colored concealer. I probably wouldn’t repurchase, though.

10 – Bare Minerals Multi tasking Spf 20 concealer in Summer Bisque: Works really well to set my concealer.

11 – ELF eyebrow kit in Medium: I absolutely LOVE this eyebrow kit. I mostly use the creamy part, and lightly use the powder side. I just wish I knew how great of a match it would be and how much I would love it when I bought it because we don’t have ELF here in Brazil, sadly.

 

12 – MAC Eye Kohl in Fascinating: Just a matte white eyeliner that I use on my waterline to open up my eyes. It could be creamier but it’s ok.

13 – ELF Eyelash primer: This is another ELF product I wish I knew how much I would love when I bought it. At first I thought the formula was too dry but it’s just awesome.

14 – Covergirl Clump crusher: I use it on top of my Maybelline mascara, and it’s awesome. It’s really good by itself as well, gives off great length.

15 – Maybelline Great Lash lots of lashes: It’s a good mascara, it took me a while to get used to the tiny wand, though. I wouldn’t repurchase.

16 – MAC Blanc Type eyeshadow: It’s a matte shadow that I use as a brow highlighter but since it’s cool toned, it doesn’t look too great on my very warm skin. I’m trying to use it up.

17 – MAC Paint pot in Painterly: Same as Blanc Type, it’s just too pink for me. It does work, but I already have an unopened Soft Ochre in my stash for when I’m done with Painterly.

18 – Bobbi Brown Long wear gel eyeliner in Black Ink: When I read reviews of this product, most people said it was better than MAC’s fluidline but it’s not. My fluidline was much easier to use, much creamier, had better pigmentation and lasted much longer. Once I spent the whole day at the beach then I went in the pool and my fluidline was literally intact on my eyes. So I just want to be done with Bobbi Brown’s so I can go back to MAC’s.

19 – ELF Makeup Mist and Set: It’s ok but it’s no Fix Plus by MAC. Nothing much to say about it.

20 – Panvel eyelash curler: Very cheap brazilian drugstore brand eyelash curler. It’s awesome, it cost around 6  to 8 reais, which means around 2 – 3 US dollars.

Project Pan Round 1 – Update #13 and #14

I was so late doing this update that I decided to do a 2 week update in one post, so I don’t remember precisely how many times I used the products, but the pics will show my progress anyways.

1- MAC Lipglass in Pink Lemonade: I haven’t used it in a long time.

2 – MAC Plushglass in Bubble Tea: I haven’t used it in a long time either.

3 – Contém 1g (brazilian brand) Lip Pencil in Pele Rosado (or Flesh Pink): Same as the glosses.

4 – MAC Lipstick in Please Me: This has been my everyday lip color. I really want to finish this lipstick as it will be the first lipstick ever that I have finished.

5 – Shiseido Sun Protection Eye Cream SPF 32: I’ve been using it everyday. I have made quite a dent since the beginning of my project pan.

6 – Benefit Ooh La Lift: I’ve been using it everyday. There’s still some product left.

7 – Benefit Erase Paste in number 2 (medium): Finished it March 27th.

#7 Replacements: NARS radiant Creamy concealer in Honey and NYX HD Concealer in Light: These have been my go to concealers for everyday but I tend to switch up and use my Bobbi Brown corrector and concealer when I have a special event or something, which I did last week.

8 – Benefit Eyebrow Pencil in Medium:  Finished it May 9th.

9 – Benefit Eye Bright: Used it up April 11th.

10 – Benefit Porefessional: Finally finished it! As you can see from the picture, it took me extreme measures to get all of the product out. I had to cut the tube open and there was enough product for maybe 2 uses (but I used it all at once because I don’t like my cream products to be exposed like that). I’m really happy it’s gone, though I love this product. I have a backup of it but I wanna try to finish my Too Faced primed and poreless primer before I open my Porefessional backup (Finished it June 17th).

11 – NARS Orgasm blush: I’ve been using it everyday and am really feeling like using other blushes but it’s so close to finishing it that I want to keep going.

12 – Bare Minerals Original Foundation in Light (deluxe size): used it up March 21st.

 13 – Maybelline Great Lash mascara Lots of Lashes in brownish black: I’ve been using it everyday.

14 – Shiseido Perfect Mascara: I haven’t used it.

15 – Maybelline The Colossal: I have used it once this week.

16 – Benefit Bad Gal mascara sample: Finished it April 24th.

 

 

This is my update for weeks 13 and 14. Hopefully I can get reviews up of the recent products I’ve finished (that I totally forgot about reviewing).  I feel like I’ve made a pretty nice progress since week 1. I’ve been really consistent with most of my products which is what makes them go so quickly. And also I’m doing a post soon about other products that I’ve hit pan on (that aren’t included in my project pan)

My everyday skincare routine

I mostly talk about makeup on my project pan, but I decided to show you the skincare products I use everyday. It is really important to have a nice clean, hydrated skin to do your makeup and make it look nice and protect  your skin from the sun is key for reasons we all know about.

 

 

1 – Tea tree skin clearing facial wash, 2 – Tea Tree skin clearing toner, 3 – Tea Tree skin clearing lotion  (The Body Shop): I bought this kit the last time I went to the US, and I’ve been loving using it so much. It makes my skin feel so fresh in the morning and I believe it helps with redness on my skin.

 

 

4 – Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel: I use this sometimes in place of the tea tree lotion.

5 – Aveeno Positively radiant daily moisturizer: Since it’s winter here in the southern hemisphere, my skin sometimes needs extra hydration, and this moisturizer does it for me, specially with an spf of 15 that I feel is enough when I’m not gonna be out and about in the sun.

6- La Roche-Posay fps 60 sunscreen: I use this sunscreen everyday.

 

 

 7 – Yes to cucumbers soothing eye gel: I use it everyday before my Shiseido eye cream (that is on my project pan) to reduce puffiness around my eyes.

Project Pan Round 1 – Update #12 + New makeup product

I went travelling this weekend to see France play Honduras in the World Cup, so the update comes a bit late again this week. Nothing too exciting has happened, but next week there’ll definitely be a finished product.

1- MAC Lipglass in Pink Lemonade: I haven’t used it this week.

2 – MAC Plushglass in Bubble Tea: I haven’t used it this week. I’ve been carrying it in my purse just so if I want to reapply a lip product in the middle of the day but I never remember to do that.

3 – Contém 1g (brazilian brand) Lip Pencil in Pele Rosado (or Flesh Pink): I haven’t used it this week.

4 – MAC Lipstick in Please Me: I’ve used it a couple of times this week.

5 – Shiseido Sun Protection Eye Cream SPF 32: I’ve used it almost everyday of this week.

6 – Benefit Ooh La Lift: I’ve been using it everyday, it’s nearing the end.

7 – Benefit Erase Paste in number 2 (medium): Finished it March 27th.

#7 Replacements: NARS radiant Creamy concealer in Honey and NYX HD Concealer in Light: I’ve used both most days this week.

8 – Benefit Eyebrow Pencil in Medium:  Finished it May 9th.

9 – Benefit Eye Bright: Used it up April 11th.

10 – Benefit Porefessional: I’ve been using it everyday, I believe this is this product’s last week, it’s been getting really difficult to get product out.

11 – NARS Orgasm blush: I’ve used it most days. It’s been difficult to use it because the strip of product is so thin, that it makes the application a bit streaky.

12 – Bare Minerals Original Foundation in Light (deluxe size): used it up March 21st.

 13 – Maybelline Great Lash mascara Lots of Lashes in brownish black: I’ve used it most days, it’s getting goopy as I’ve said before, so I’m thinking about tossing it soon. I’m so bad at throwing out mascara but this one’s pretty old.

14 – Shiseido Perfect Mascara: I haven’t used it.

15 – Maybelline The Colossal: I think I’ve used it once.

16 – Benefit Bad Gal mascara sample: Finished it April 24th.

 

This week I also got a new makeup product, but since it was a gift, it doesn’t count as cheating on my no buy, right? It’s a lipstick by Mary Kay my mom got me because I was feeling a bit down, it’s called Coral Bliss and it’s very hydrating. Since it’s almost Winter here in Brazil, this lipstick’s great for moisture, and it’s a pretty orangey coral shade.

Project Pan Round 1 – Update #11

This week I didn’t consistently use my lip products because each day I just wanted to change it up a bit and on friday I just really felt like putting something else on. One of the problems about doing project pan is that you kind of feel guilty about using other products because you really want to finish the products you’ve initially picked, and also you can’t just pick a million products because then you’ll never use any of them up. So here’s my (late) update for week 11:

1- MAC Lipglass in Pink Lemonade: I believe I haven’t used it this week.

2 – MAC Plushglass in Bubble Tea: I believe I used it a couple times, paired with the lip pencil.

3 – Contém 1g (brazilian brand) Lip Pencil in Pele Rosado (or Flesh Pink): Used it a couple times.

4 – MAC Lipstick in Please Me: I used it once or twice, maybe.

5 – Shiseido Sun Protection Eye Cream SPF 32: I’ve used it everyday. I can really feel now there’s so much product gone.

6 – Benefit Ooh La Lift: I’ve been using it everyday and it’s getting really hard to get product out of the tube.

7 – Benefit Erase Paste in number 2 (medium): Finished it March 27th.

#7 Replacements: NARS radiant Creamy concealer in Honey and NYX HD Concealer in Light: I used them pretty much everyday of the week.

8 – Benefit Eyebrow Pencil in Medium:  Finished it May 9th.

9 – Benefit Eye Bright: Used it up April 11th.

10 – Benefit Porefessional: I thought I would have finished it a week or 2 weeks ago but it’s still going strong. As you can see from the picture Im using semi-extreme measures to get product out, but there’s still so much coming out! I have no idea when it will be gone.

11 – NARS Orgasm blush: I’ve been using it everyday but even though I love it, I’ve been wanting to use other blushes.

12 – Bare Minerals Original Foundation in Light (deluxe size): used it up March 21st.

 13 – Maybelline Great Lash mascara Lots of Lashes in brownish black: This one will be tossed soon. It’s getting very goopy and it’s making my lashes clump up.

14 – Shiseido Perfect Mascara: Haven’t used it even once.

15 – Maybelline The Colossal: I used it once this week. It’s drying up! I need to get around to using it when I’m done with the other mascara.

16 – Benefit Bad Gal mascara sample: used it up April 24th.

 

This is it for this week. Hopefully next week there’ll be a finished product.

Project Pan Round 1 – Update #10

This week I decided to show pictures of some of my other project pan products so you can see the progress I’ve been making with them as well.

1- MAC Lipglass in Pink Lemonade: I believe I’ve used it this week but can’t remember. There’s no visible progress here.

2 – MAC Plushglass in Bubble Tea: I’ve used it a couple times. There’s visible progress since I marked it March 28th, there’s a little sliver there, where you can see progress.

3 – Contém 1g (brazilian brand) Lip Pencil in Pele Rosado (or Flesh Pink): I’ve used it a couple of times paired with Bubble Tea.

4 – MAC Lipstick in Please Me: I’ve used it a couple times. Now it really is almost done. I almost can’t believe the difference since my first update.

5 – Shiseido Sun Protection Eye Cream SPF 32: I’ve been using it constantly, I believe you can see the progress in the tube, it’s skinnier now.

 

 

6 – Benefit Ooh La Lift: This week I’ve been using it on top of my NYX concealer, mixed with my NARS concealer. It doesn’t make a big difference, but it works better than under the concealers.

7 – Benefit Erase Paste in number 2 (medium): Finished it March 27th.

#7 Replacements: NARS radiant Creamy concealer in Honey and NYX HD Concealer in Light: I’ve been using them everyday.

8 – Benefit Eyebrow Pencil in Medium: Finished it May 9th.

9 – Benefit Eye Bright: Used it up April 11th.

10 – Benefit Porefessional: I thought I would be done with this product this week, but there’s still a couple uses left in it.

11 – NARS Orgasm blush: I’m almost done with the shattered pieces as you can see. I’ve been using it everyday.

12 – Bare Minerals Original Foundation in Light (deluxe size): used it up March 21st.

 13 – Maybelline Great Lash mascara Lots of Lashes in brownish black: I’ve been using it everyday, this is a magical mascara, it’s truly never ending.

14 – Shiseido Perfect Mascara: I haven’t used it.

15 – Maybelline The Colossal: I used it once this week.

16 – Benefit Bad Gal mascara sample: Finished it April 24th.

 

I believe there will be a finished product next week, can’t wait!
